The first memorable moment I witnessed at this World Cuip was the sight of Desmond Tutu dancing in the stands after the South African goal was scored. In the 55th minute Siphiwe Tshabalala of South Africa became the first football player to score a World Cup goal on the African continent.
Another World Cup momnet to remember is the Republic of Korea's Park Ji-Sung weaving through the slow Greek defence to score the second goal for his team. The Manchester United midfielder showed balance and pace to elude his markers to slot home a well taken goal.
